Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to help us continue to build out our brand in Dallas as well as other strategic markets. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our business by building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored talent solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the staffing or recruiting industry, with a specific focus on Accounting and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the Accounting and Finance sectors, focusing on executive search and staffing solutions.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication, exceptional service delivery, and understanding their evolving business needs.
Sales and Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and key decision-makers in the Accounting and Finance industries.
- Proactively identify staffing and hiring challenges faced by clients and offer customized solutions to address those needs.
Collaborative Team Engagement
- Partner with the recruiting team to ensure the delivery of high-quality talent that aligns with client expectations.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to recruiters to optimize candidate pipelines for Accounting and Finance roles.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine service offerings and strategies to meet market demands.
Networking and Brand Building
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and credibility.
- Leverage social media platforms and professional networks, such as LinkedIn, to identify and engage with prospects.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of business development experience in the staffing or executive search industry, with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed revenue targets through strategic client acquisition and relationship management.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Accounting and Finance sectors, including common roles, industry challenges, and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, such as Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar platforms, to manage leads and track performance.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
